Tilney Copse (short story)

“I love it.  The Whole thing fits together really well and is an indictment of modern living as well as a story about a worm turning – turning into a murderer, in fact.  It’s amazing how much emotion you got into so few words.  I felt enormous sympathy for the narrator and although her solution was drastic, kind of understood.  The fact that the tone of the story was so lighthearted was an enormous contrast to the subject matter.  I think it could definitely come under the heading of  ’dark humour.’  I’m delighted to be able to short list this story – congratulations!”
